Dr. Jimnellys Albanese is a physician, biomedical sciences professional and founder of EraGENE™ Research Institute, a growing research initiative focused on genetics, clinical research, innovation and emerging health technologies.
With academic training in Biomedical Sciences, Medicine and Clinical Research, her work is centered around scientific collaboration, research development and the creation of innovative ecosystems designed to support future advances in genetics, complex diseases and emerging health technologies. She also holds certifications in Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Human Subjects Research (HSR), Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR), Clinical Research Operations and regulatory frameworks including HIPAA, IRB and ICH-GCP guidelines.
As a Latina physician and entrepreneur, her vision has been shaped by both personal experiences and a passion for expanding access, representation and innovation in healthcare and research. Beyond her professional journey, Dr. Albanese is also a proud mother whose resilience, personal growth and long-term vision inspired her to build not only a career, but a mission-driven legacy rooted in purpose, innovation and service.
Through EraGENE™, she aims to help build a future where science, innovation and collaboration can expand opportunities in research, genetics and emerging health technologies for historically underrepresented communities.

Board-certified pediatrician, clinical researcher, and healthcare leader with more than three decades of medical experience in patient care, academic medicine, clinical research, and healthcare administration. Dr. Hidalgo has served as a Principal Investigator in multiple clinical trials and has held leadership positions in hospitals, medical education programs, and healthcare organizations throughout Florida.
At EraGENE™ Research Institute, Dr. Hidalgo serves as Principal Investigator and Medical Advisor, providing clinical oversight, research guidance, scientific collaboration, and strategic support for initiatives focused on patient identification, genetics, precision medicine, clinical research, and underserved populations.
